Q: Do I need to pay GST on my incoming cargo?

A: Any incoming cargo with CIF value of SGD 400 and above are required to pay GST.

Q: My cargo contains food stuff, what should I do?

A: Companies importing food stuff will require an SFA import license.Please kindly contact us for more information.

Q: My company is importing / exporting goods for the first time, what should I do?

A: All first-time companies will require to undergo a one-time activation of UEN with the Singapore Customs.

Q: My company are importing medical device, what should I do?

A: Companies are required to undergo classification of your medical product.Please kindly contact HSA for more information.
